Christian Education

At WPC, we believe God calls us to learn and grow together. That’s why we offer many educational options for all ages. We provide a safe place for people to bring their questions, even as they walk in and out of their journeys with Christ. “Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long” (Psa

lm 25:5)

Adult Education Opportunities

We encourage all members and friends to find at least one place to nurture your spiritual life. Maybe it’s a Bible study, maybe it’s a spirituality group, or maybe it’s a place of service that feeds you. We want to help you find a place to plug in and grow with God! At WPC, we are always asking ourselves what we can add to the Body of Christ. Through small groups and intergenerational mission projects, we grow together in our journeys of faith. Check out our calendar to see what study opportunities are coming up!

Music

The music program offers opportunities for adults, youth and children to participate in choral, handbell and special instrumental offerings, both during Sunday worship and during special programs.

Chancel Choir

Our Chancel Choir is comprised of talented volunteers who sing a diverse repertoire of great choral works and anthems during our Sunday worship. Rehearsals are Wednesdays, 6:30-7:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Those interested in joining the Chancel Choir are invited to observe and sing during the rehearsals, or contact our wonderful choir director, Ann Tharp, for more information!

Bell Choir

Our self-proclaimed “ding-a-ling” group is a multi-generational ensemble that welcomes all regardless of handbell ringing experience. Training is provided. This ensemble rings about eight times annually. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays, 7:

30-8:15p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Church Life

Whether it’s coffee hour after worship, monthly movies with meaning, church in the park, mindfulness class, fall wiener roasts or joining together for a Fat Tuesday pancake supper or souper bowl potluck in the Fellowship Hall, we at WPC are all about getting together for some good family time. We would love to have you join us! As our church bulletin says every week, there are no visitors in the body of Christ. Check out the website (wpcusa.org) for upcoming group fellowship activities.
